Lobby Art

This is a lobby piece Christopher put together for a client that wanted to display the multiple locations their business has nationally. We commissioned, wood worker, Scott Boris to construct a rough model of the United States using a variety of woods. He then sanded it smooth. Christopher did the final cutting then hand carved the states with the customer's business locations, and offset them from the wood base map to make it three dimensional. The specific cities of the branch locations were then engraved on gold plates and mounted onto their states.    (To view click on the image.)
