Much of the inspiration for Frank's work is found in his own backyard. Whether working in acrylics, oils, pastels or pencils, he always strives for the most accurate portrayals of the natural world.  He is known best for his bold lighting and meticulous details.  Being a self-taught artist, Frank has garnered a remarkable list of awards which include:
